ZAC6 will be different: While classical formats such as oral presentations (talks) and posters are welcomed and are supposed to be the main ZAC6 content, we also encourage new formats that promote discussion and engagement, such as project pitches, speed talks aimed at generating feedback or collaboration opportunities, visual presentations to convey research outcomes or describe future directions or other interactive formats. We think this approach fosters interdisciplinary exchange and allows for a wide range of contributions, supporting meaningful and diverse discussions about our research and our activities for knowledge exchange and capacity development. We hereby strongly encourage contributions by new colleagues and early career ocean professionals.
